The Texas Rangers' charitable foundation has given $100,000 to five Texas non-profits, the largest single grant it has ever awarded in its 30-year history, the Dallas Morning News reports.
The Adaptive Training Foundation of Carrollton, which serves wounded and injured military veterans, first responders, and disabled community members through physical and mental coaching; the Arlington Independent School District Education Foundation, which serves at-risk students;Artes De La Rosa of Fort Worth, which is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and interpreting the art, culture, lives, and history of the Latino community; and Traffick 911, a North Texas-based foundation aimed at freeing youth from sex trafficking.
