The Arlington Education Foundation awarded grants to some local schools for the promotion of innovative teaching through programs that range from weaving to music therapy.
The nonprofit organization will be awarding $29,000 to elementary schools and preschool under the "Innovation in Education" and "Development and Expansion" programs. The recipients of such grants are Thompson School, Hardy School, Bishop School, Menotomy Preschool, and Peirce School.
