TheCadence is a sleek new at-home medication dispenser that's designed to make it easier for parents to make sure their kids don't get their hands on their prescription pills.
The device, which is being called a "childproof medication dispenser," has a built-in LED strip that lets parents know when it's time to take their pills, reports Gizmodo.
It also has a built-in Bluetooth connection that allows users to monitor how often they're taking their pills, and it comes with a child-proof mechanism to keep young children from getting their hands on the pills.
The concept was dreamed up by designer Anthony Chupp, who says it was inspired by his own struggle to keep his 7-year-old son from getting his hands on his anti-anxiety medication, reports the Telegraph.
TheCadence, which can hold up to 30 days' worth of pills, also has a built-in alarm that will go off when it's time to take the pills, Chupp tells Gizmodo.
