"Dear Little One," a new app that lets parents record messages and share them with their kids, has been downloaded more than a million times since it was released last week, Mashable reports.
According to the app's website, it's "designed to immortalize precious moments between parents and their children," allowing parents to record "heartfelt messages alongside photos, capturing everyday life to preserve memories that can fade after time."
Voice notes can also be added to photos to add a personal touch, according to the app's website.
"As parents upload photos, they can effortlessly add a personal touch by recording voice notes, offering a glimpse into the joys and laughter shared with their child," the website states.
"Years down the line, children can revisit these memories, hearing the loving narration of their lives by the ones who cherish them the most," the website states.
