If you live in a rural Minnesota community and want to do something about the lack of childcare in your area, First Children's Finance has just the thing for you.
The nonprofit is accepting applications for its Minnesota Rural Child Care Innovation Program, which aims to help communities solve the problem of child care in rural areas, the St.
Paul Pioneer Press reports.
According to a press release, the program requires a core group of about 20 people to come up with "right-sized solutions" to the childcare problem in a certain area, or a larger area if there is interest in doing so.
The applications are due in late January.
