The next NASCAR race at Phoenix Raceway will be called the Shriners Children's 500.
In a press release, the track announced that the March 10 NASCAR Cup Series race will now be known as the Shriners Children's 500.
"We are excited to welcome Shriners Children's to Phoenix Raceway as the entitlement partner for our NASCAR Cup Series race in March," said Phoenix Raceway President Latasha Causey.
"Shriners Children's is dedicated to changing and improving the lives of children, and we are happy to help magnify their important work throughout the region."
Since its founding in 1922, Shriners Children's has provided care to more than 1.5 million children with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and craniofacial conditions, "regardless of the families' ability to pay or insurance status," per a press release.
