At this year's Julia Child Award Gala, guests were treated to a menu of corn tacos, a first course of mushroom stew, an entr ? e of cedar-braised elk, and cranberry tea custard for desserta meal representing a reclamation of Indigenous foodways, NPR reports.
The 9th Annual Julia Child Award Gala was honoring restaurateureansherman, who has made "a profound and significant difference in the way America cooks, eats, and drinks," according to the Julia Child Foundation for Gastronomy.
