The Oklahoma City district is a hub for companies related to science, technology, engineering, and math, and it hosted a science and career fair for 1,000 seventh-graders this week.
There were exhibits from NASA, the FAA, and more.
"These kinds of events get people excited about what kinds of careers are here in Oklahoma," Martin says.
