Govee CEO Eric Wu says the smart-home company "has always been committed to bringing more fun and convenience to people's lives through our smart home and light innovations."
The Orlando Sentinel reports the company has teamed up with Give Kids the World Village, a nonprofit resort in Florida where children with critical illnesses and their families are treated to cost-free vacations.
Govee has donated a variety of smart lights, including LED strip lights and smart bulbs, to decorate the resort's entertainment venues in celebration of World Children's Day on June 11, 2023.
"We are delighted to be able to collaborate with Give Kids the World Village to bring some extra joy to these children during particularly challenging times," Wu says in a press release.
"We hope our smart lighting can add some color and a 'bright' spot to their once-in-a-lifetime vacations."
