Bangladesh's Guardian Life has come up with what it says is a first-of-its-kind child protection plan that pays out more than twice the coverage amount in the event of the parent's death, the Daily Star reports.
According to a press release, Projonmo is a "complete child protection plan" that "ensures future security for the next generation and complete financial independence for parents."
The plan allows parents to nominate one or more of their children as the beneficiary, and the maximum age limit is 25 years.
The company says it will pay more than 1.5 times the guaranteed coverage amount during the policy's maturity, and the nominee will receive more than double the coverage amount in case of sudden death of the policyholder.
The Guardian Projonmo plan is available in three options for customers: Aspire, Start-up, and Lifetime.
