It's that time of year again: time for parents and caregivers to head to the doctor's office to make sure their kids are healthy and happy.
Sesame Workshop and Quest Diagnostics have teamed up to create a slew of resources for parents and caregivers to help them do just that, the Washington Post reports.
The resources, which are available in English and Spanish, are designed to help families form "a healthy team," Sesame Workshop says in a press release.
They include a video of a young girl talking to her grandmother about her well-child visit, an interactive game where Elmo and Abby pretend they're doctors, and a digital storybook for parents and caregivers to read together with children about their "healthy teams."
"Each family has their own unique strengths, and many of those strengths are related to their culture," the press release says.
"Good communication among family, healthcare providers, and children leads to trusting relationships and inspires healthy habits."
