India's president is set to bestow an award on 11 children Monday for their "exceptional achievement in the field of Art and Culture, Bravery, Innovation, Social Service, and Sports," per a government press release.
The children, who are between the ages of 5 and 18, will receive the Pradhan Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) medal, a cash prize of around $7,300, and a certificate at a ceremony in New Delhi, reports the Hindustan Times.
The awards are given to children in six categories: Art and Culture, Bravery, Innovation, Social Service, and Sports.
