Bangladesh's first-ever international film festival kicked off in the country's capital of Dhaka on Saturday, with a line-up that included the movie Kathal and children's puppet show Goofi, reports the Daily Star.
The three-day festival featured more than 100 films, workshops, and talks on a wide range of topics, including art, culture, and technology, reports the AFP.
The Hollywood-style film Kathal was nominated for a Golden Globe for best picture.
