It's that time of year again: time for South Africa's Cape Town Opera to present its annual production of a children's show called Bubbles.
This year's version, directed by Elisabeth Manduell, is aimed at babies and small children from birth to 4 years of age, and it features the Cape Town Opera Young Artists and OperaLAB participants, bringing music, song, and play together in an exciting and immersive way, the Cape Town Times reports.
The show runs from Dec.
14 to 17 at the Artscape Theatre, and it's part of the opera's "Opera Blocks" series.
"The 40-minute performance is aimed at babies and small children from birth to 4 years of age and explores the magical world of theater," the opera says.
"A charming production, it is directed by Elisabeth Manduell and features Cape Town Opera Young Artists and OperaLAB participants, bringing music, song, and play together in an exciting and immersive way."
