The American Hospital Association's annual awards for innovation, collaboration, and health equity are out, and this year's winners are making waves.
The NOVA Awards recognize programs that are helping to address "many of our nation's most pressing health challenges while creating healthier communities and increasing well-being for their neighbors," per the AHA.
Among the winners: Community Connect, a program at Children's Minnesota in Minneapolis that uses well-child visits at primary care clinics to identify unmet health-related social needs, per a press release.
It's one of five programs to receive the 2022 award.
