Virginia Health Care Foundation has been awarded almost $1 million in grants to determine children from low-income families who are eligible in receiving federal support.
The foundation has been engaged in outreach seeking low-income children who qualify for Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program. The funding is part of the $32 million allocation disseminated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to organizations in 22 states.
