About twenty undergraduate students enrolled in a philanthropy class at Binghamton University received $10,000 from the Learning By Giving Program to distribute to local non-profits of their choosing.
One of the recipients is Boys and Girls Clubs of Binghamton which received $5,000 to support its basketball program and to help pay for a van to take kids on field trips.
