A Texas real estate agent has been sentenced to life in prison for the sexual abuse of an 8-year-old girl.
Andrew Brown, 38, was found guilty in January of continuous sexual abuse of a child younger than 14 years of age, the Austin American-Statesman reports.
Evidence showed that while caring for the child of a family friend, Brown sexually abused the girl for more than a year.
Brown, a cheer coach and real estate agent, was released on bond prior to his conviction.
He was also ordered to register as a sex offender.
