That's what the Home Furnishings Association has to say about its annual Retailer of the Year awards, which it calls "a beacon, illuminating the remarkable achievements within this vibrant sector."
This year's winners, who were announced Thursday in New York City, include Raymour & Flanigan, which took home the top Retailer of the Year award under 50 employees for its "strong company culture values and innovation, while exceptional customer service and social responsibility initiatives contribute to their success," per the HFA.
Other winners: Manufacturer of the Year: Ashley Furniture Industries, which took home the top prize for its "strong company culture focused on investing in employees and developing leaders."
Partner of the Year: JBHunt, which took home the top Partner of the Year award for its "exceptional company culture focuses on trust, integrity, and employee contributions."
Emerging Star: Shane Pohlman, director of furniture for Nebraska Furniture Mart, took home the Trailblazer of the Year award for "his visionary leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, and willingness to challenge the status quo."
