Imo, Jaago to Empower Marginalised Children'S Education

"We hope we can continue to collaborate with entities like imo that are responsible and caring towards the community and its people."

Those are the words of the executive director of JAAGO Foundation, a non-profit organization in Bangladesh that works to improve the lives of children through education, per the Wall Street Journal.

That's why the tech company imo Messenger decided to team up with JAAGO this month to provide more than 1,000 children with new school supplies, including pencils, pens, sharpeners, color pencils, crayons, rulers, and more, reports the Daily Star.

"In order to support these children in the pursuit of a better life through education, we have decided to partner with JAAGO and provide them with learning supplies," imo's business director says in a press release.

The donation was made during an event at JAAGO's school in Banani on Thursday, where imo handed out the supplies.

"The collaboration with imo has been a game-changer for our children," says the principal of JAAGO's school.

"It has injected a powerful spirit of hope and motivation in them."
