Brian Owens to Headline Kids Rock Cancer Mother'S Day Benefit Concert

Louis' own Brian Owens will take the stage in St.

Louis for a Mother's Day tribute concert for kids with cancer and their families.

Owens, a celebrated American Soul artist, will be performing at Kids Rock Cancer's "Mom's Playlist," a benefit concert for the Maryville University program that helps kids and their families deal with cancer or blood-related disorders, the St.

Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

"Bring the special women in your life for an evening of soulful sounds in support of a great cause," says the event's website.
