Israel's minister of innovation, science, and technology is on a visit to Morocco, where he's expected to discuss artificial intelligence, food-tech, water, and more, the Times of Israel reports.
According to an official statement, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation Abdellatif Miraoui and Israeli Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology Ofir Akunis will discuss "cooperation initiatives in various fields such as agritech, food-tech, water, artificial intelligence, and more."
Akunis is also expected to meet with heads of the Jewish community of Morocco.
This is Akunis' first official visit to the country.
