The World Food Innovation Awards are known for honoring the best in food innovation, and China's Yili Group took home the top prize for the 17th time this year.
The company won the Packaging Design award for its Satine No Printing No Ink Environmental-friendly Edition, which uses plant-based materials in its packaging and is laser-printed without traditional ink printing, per a press release.
Yili also took home the Children's/Baby Product award, the Artisan Product award, and the Technology Innovation award for its Cute Star Natural Pure Milk, which is "the world's first room temperature active lactoferrin milk product that provides nutritional care for children's healthy growth," per the press release.
Yili also took home 13 other awards, including the coveted Chilled/Frozen Product award for its Xujin Cheese Flavored Ice cream, which "is China's first low ice cream product certified by the Global Green Union," per the press release.
The company also took home the Dairy Product award for itsabrita YingJiaxin Goat Milk Formula, which "innovatively combines phytosterol esters, DHA, folic acid, and zinc to help protect the cardiovascular and cerebral vascular health of middle-aged and elderly people," as well as
