"EPAM not only relentlessly pursues the best technology solutions for our customers, but also integrates acting sustainably for good into everything we do," says Shamilka Samarasinha, EPAM's Global Head of Corporate Social Responsibility.
Samarasinha's company, EPAM Systems India Private Limited, received the award in the IT sector for its eKIDS program, which provides access to high-quality computing education for more than 12,000 girls in under-represented communities in India, as well as the Global Wild Wisdom Challenge, in which more than 25,000 children from nearly 400 schools took part to raise awareness of tiger recovery efforts, per the press release.
"I would like to thank the jury, our partners, and all EPAMers who participated and continue to make these initiatives a tremendous success," Samarasinha says.
