The Black Oak Mine Unified School District in northern California is offering a one-hour transitional kindergarten program for kids who turn 5 between Sept. 2 and June 2, starting the 2023-24 school year.

The program is open to kids who are ready for traditional kindergarten but not yet 5 years old, reports the Redding Record Searchlight.

The Black Oak Mine Unified School District offers developmentally appropriate transitional kindergarten and kindergarten programs.

The program is designed to serve students who turn 5 between Sept. 2 and June 2 starting the 2023-24 school year.
