10 Tips To Help Kids Become More Creative At School

Kristy Law, who writs for Moms.com, offers 10 tips to help children harness their creativity more at school.

Law argues that things have begun to change in schools, with creative subjects now being embraced.

She points out that academic subjects and creative subjects are both equally important and can both offer children valuable skills and life lessons.

Law lists tips that include embracing the mess, reducing screen time, setting aside creative time, encouraging risk taking, allowing more freedom where kids develop their own likes and dislikes, encouraging kids to ask questions, being creative and expressing themselves in many different ways, displaying their work, playing games, and avoiding rewarding kids just for being creative.
