Nonprofit Community Haven for Adults and Children with Disabilities, Inc. has received word that local organizations, businesses and individuals will be assisting with its mission to enrich the lives of children, teens, and adults with disabilities in the community.
Many businesses and organizations have donated funds, materials and resources specifically for the foundation's transition services, Selby Preschool and plant nursery among others. Volunteers have also contributed their time to assist in the foundation's other programs and events.

One of the most significant challenges to social entrepreneurship and innovation is ensuring a diversity of approaches and participants in the movement. To truly deliver meaningful social change the leaders of the effort must share perspectives of the challenges faced by communities across the U.S. that can most appropriately come from members of those communities. Ashoka, through its All America initiative seeks to increase the diversity of social entrepreneurship practitioners.
