The Salt Lake Tribune reports that Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah has recently received a $5,000 grant from the UPS Foundation which will be used to fund programing for nearly 1,600 children across the state.
President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah, Pam Sanders, said that it costs $1,000 to support one mentoring relationship for an entire year. The foundation has distributed more than $45.3 million worldwide through grants during the previous year.
